BOATING SAFETY

Due to its size and speed, the river is potenially dangerous. To avoid trouble, sometimes it is necessary to react swiftly. The consequences can be death!

In some cases, the boat operator's commands might seem unnecessarily forceful. This is never intended! Your safety at this dangerous moment is the only consideration

1. Please be seated as soon as possible when the operator asks you to. The fisherman on the front deck can kneel.

2. Assist the boat operator in identifying potentially dangerous situations when he is helping you rig your equipment or netting fish.

3. It is imperative that the aisle between the seats is clear for boat operations (from enge to achor or oars).

4. Always stay seated when the engine is propelling the boat.

5. When the operator is rowing, be prepared for sudden stops.

6. Life jackets are in a large black plastic bag under the front deck
- tear the plastic to remove the jackets.
